Who We Partner With and Support
The Bridge has a vision to help the East Marsh area of Grimsby, which is where we are based.
We believe that helping the poor is something that we are called to do as a church, and is something that Jesus wants us to do. However, we also partner with and support several other ministries both here in the UK and beyond.
Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Global Awakening (ANGA)
Global Awakening is an international ministry support network to which the Bridge belongs. They provide us with accountability, training and teaching resources.
Headed up by Randy Clark, Global Awakening works around the world to help equip churches to share the full gospel of salvation, healing and deliverance. They are part of the Revival Alliance which also includes Bethel Church, Redding, and Iris Ministries (Heidi and Rolland Baker).
BRIDGEfriends is our Christian Outreach based in Grimsby, wanting to extend our friendship and support to the most vulnerable women within our community. We exist to facilitate the rebuilding of lives that have been given up as hopeless, encourage them back into mainstream society, achieve their full potential and realise their dreams. This is achieved by building relationships through a team of dedicated volunteers and working in partnership with other agencies both locally and nationally whose commitment and concern is the welfare of those that we assist.
Compassion UK is an organisation which supports children from poor communities all over the world. They provide education, health and spiritual care for each child through a sponsorship programme.
The Bridge is the sponsor for a little girl in Kenya called Fra-shia. She is 10 years old and lives in Kenya with her parents and siblings. She regularly attends Sunday school and church, and loves the story of baby Jesus. Her favourite song is ‘What a Mighty God We Serve’ she hopes to get to know more about us as a church as we continue to support her.
Mercy Ministries UK exists to provide opportunities for women to experience God’s unconditional love, forgiveness and life-transforming power in partnership with the local church. They provide a range of services to see freedom and restoration for women, and to break the cycle of destruction for those who struggle with life-controlling issues such as eating disorders, self-harm and the effects of abuse.
